A few years ago, I stepped out of my comfort zone as a Spanish tutor to start a podcast with my partner at the time. I was excited about everything I would learn and motivated by the idea of generating income so she and I could dedicate ourselves fully to the project. Deep down, though, I felt a voice—the Holy Spirit—warning me that this path would pull me away from my connection with God and my church for all the time spent and without leaving time for our relationship with God. I chose to silence that voice little by little, and eventually the project failed, leaving us hurt and disappointed.
With the passing of time, I learned not to take a step without God’s presence. That’s how BEAR WITH ME Spanish was born: a space where two of my greatest passions come together—teaching Spanish and sharing about God’s love. Today, I’m no longer afraid of failure, because every day is an opportunity to grow and help others discover both the beauty of the Spanish language and the faithfulness of God.

As an online Spanish teacher for over 6 years, I now want to share with others what God has given me: community, learning, and faith.
The name BEAR WITH ME reflects both who I am and how I see teaching: a teacher doesn’t know everything but learns alongside the student. Likewise, in our faith, we never stop learning about God’s love and faithfulness.
